WHO WE ARE
Someonecarez is an organization that acts as support group to prostitutes, drug addicts, alcoholics and in fact, anyone with any form of addiction that is truly ready for a change. We encourage and empower them to the point where they regain control over their lives. We are also a listening ear to basically anyone that is going through any issues that just needs someone to talk to.At somonecarez, we believe that in the place of destructive criticism and judgmental attitudes against people that have found themselves in a special situation as this should be love, encouragement, support and help. This is because most of these people did not choose willingly to live a life as that. Most times, situations that date back to their childhood, play a major role as well as some uncontrollable situation they found themselves in. Also, at the verge of a change that might want to come their way, they are restricted by people's feelings against them which they assume might never change. Obviously, this assumption is as a result of the negative attitudes of some 'perfect' individuals against them.
We also contribute to the fight against adult and child sex abuse by giving an opportunity to the sex abusers to open up to us and let us into their mind and subsequently get help. We strongly advocate punishment for anyone caught in the act of sex abuse, but still believe that a form of rehabilitation is needed for such people, since some of them go back to the same act at the end of their punishment. This is as a result of the fact that the root of the problem is untouched. We therefore encourage anyone with a tendency of abusing or already abuses an adult or child to seek therapeutic help in someonecarez because it is such a wicked crime against humanity and should be punished if caught.
So, does someonecarez encourage people to live as they want and blame it on 'situations'? NO, rather we give help and encouragement to those that REALLY want to change because, we believe that the very same things we destructively criticize and judge can be changed with a touch of love, support, encouragement and positive attitude.
